by Mhillen Nicole Borja27 July 2023
Due to adverse weather conditions caused by the Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon Egay, classes have been suspended on Thursday, July 27.
As per the latest update from PAGASA, Typhoon Egay is gradually weakening while traversing the Luzon strait west of Batanes.
It is anticipated to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility either this morning or afternoon, with its next projected landfall expected tomorrow morning near Fujian, China.
Certain regions in Luzon are still under Storm Signal No. 1 and 2.
