Classes in several areas have been canceled on Friday, May 26 following the expected inclement weather brought by the approaching super Typhoon Mawar to the country.

As of 6 AM, here are the list of class suspensions today:

CAGAYAN

Sta. Ana (all levels, public and private, until May 27)

CEBU

Alcoy (all levels, public and private)
Argao (all levels, public and private)
Carcar City (all levels)
Consolacion (all levels)
Minglanilla (all levels, public and private, until May 27 for college students)
Naga (all elementary and high school levels)
San Fernando (all levels)
Talisay City (public schools only)

ISABELA

Echague (all levels, public and private and government offices)
San Mariano (all levels, public and private)

LAGUNA

Calamba (pre-elementary to college, public and private)
Los Baños (pre-school to senior high school, public and private)
Rizal (nursery to grade 12, public and private)

METRO MANILA

Marikina City (all levels, public and private until May 27; NSTP and other related school activities set for May 28 are also suspended)

NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

Cauyan (all levels, public and private)
Hinigaran (all levels, public and private)

PALAWAN

Roxas (all levels, public and private)

PAMPANGA

Macabebe (all levels, public and private and government offices)
