

Several local government units (LGU) and educational institutions have announced suspension of face-to-face and a shift to online or modular classes due to the three-day transportation strike.
In separate advisories, the following LGUs declared class suspension in their respective areas:
- Pampanga

- San Pedro, Laguna

Last Nov. 15, group Pagkakaisa ng mga Samahan ng Tsuper at Operator Nationwide (PISTON) announced that it is set to hold a three-day long transportation strike to protest against the Dec. 31 deadline for franchise consolidation applications under the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).
The transportation strike will begin on Nov. 20 and end on Nov. 22.
