Vice President Sara Duterte confessed that she once threatened to exhume the remains of the father and namesake of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Duterte made the reveal on Friday, October 18, during a press conference where she aired her side on the feud between her and the camp of President Marcos Jr.

The Vice President said that she made the threat to Sen. Imee Marcos, the sister of President Marcos Jr., in a group chat.

"Isang beses, sinabihan ko talaga si Sen. Imee. Sabi ko sa kanya, kung hindi kayo titigil, huhukayin ko ang tatay ninyo at itatapon siya sa West Philippine Sea," Vice President Duterte divulged to reporters.

"Nandoon pa iyon sa group chat. Meron ibang nakakita," she added.

In 2016, then President Rodrigo Duterte, the father of Vice President Duterte, allowed the burial of the late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

President Duterte gave the green-light even though some groups, especially victims of human rights abuses during the 1972 Martial Law, oppose a hero's burial for President Marcos Sr.

During the press conference, the Vice President also admitted that there has been an instance that she thought of beheading the President after he humiliated a graduate who asked for his watch as a graduation gift.

She said that the event made her realize that her relationship with President Marcos Jr. has become 'toxic'.

"At that point, may sakit na ako, I was not feeling very well, nakakatayo lang ako dahil may gamot ako, gusto ko tanggalin ang ulo niya," Vice President Duterte said.

Vice President Duterte claim that President Marcos Jr. made the graduate repeat their request, while two people beside the Chief Executive laughed.

DECEIVED REMARKS

Furthermore, the Vice President slammed the remarks of President Marcos Jr. that he felt deceived by the former after she said that she does not consider the two of them as friends.

"For the love of God, President ka na. Important pa ba yung nararamdaman mo? Hindi ba kapag President ka, hindi important yung pagod mo, yung luha mo, yung fatigue mo, yung stress mo," the Vice President said.

"When you are President, ang important diyan ay yung nararamdaman ng taong-bayan, yung bansa," she added.
