Vice President Sara Duterte on Sunday, Nov. 19, bared that she has no ambition to run for President in the 2028 Presidential Elections.
In an ambush interview with reporters, Duterte shared that she did not planned to run as Vice President in the first place.
Duterte, who is also the Education Secretary, said she can "only plan" for the future.
"But it will truly be God's plan that will prevail," she continued.
Last week, former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte advised her daughter, Vice President to not dream of the presidential position.
"Ako kay Inday, do not — huwag ka nang mag-ambisyon, anak kita. Ibigay mo na 'yung bayan sa kanila and let us see what will hapen to this country," he said during his weekly program Gikan sa Masa, Para sa Masa in SMNI channel.
He made the advice in the midst of the controversial P125 million confidential and intelligence funds of the Office of the Vice President and the reported impeachment talks against Sara in Congress.
