Fifteen deaths were recorded in the shearline-induced landslide in the Davao region, as reported by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) on Sunday, January 21.

In a situational report obtained by DZRH News, NDRRMC stated that 15 individuals reportedly perished, five others were injured, and no person went missing.

The agency, however, noted that only eight of the 15 deaths were verified.

The five reported deaths in Davao de Oro and two in Davao City are still undergoing a verification process.
