Vice President Sara Duterte expressed her support for the senatorial candidates of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP-Laban) in the upcoming 2025 midterm elections.

In a statement released on Thursday, Duterte commended all PDP-Laban members and supporters who came together for the Senatorial Candidates Proclamation Rally at Club Filipino in San Juan City.

"Ipinaaabot ko ang aking taos-pusong pagbati sa lahat ng miyembro at taga-suporta ng Partido Demokratiko Pilipino na nagtitipon-tipon ngayong araw na ito para sa Senatorial Candidates Proclamation Rally," said Duterte.

"Kaisa ng ating mga kababayang patuloy na naghahangad ng isang magandang kinabukasan, ipinapaabot ko ang aking pasasalamat sa inyong pagpupunyaging magbigay-daan sa isang tunay at makabuluhang pagbabago," she added.

She stated that she trusts the people to hold the power to change the course of the nation by voting for individuals who are deserving, honest, and dedicated to serving the country.

Ultimately, she assured the candidates of her support, along with that of the public, who are praying for the success of their advocacies for the benefit of Filipinos.

Among the candidates presented were reelectionist Senators Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa and Bong Go, along with other candidates such as Philip Salvador, Atty. Raul Lambino, Atty. Jesus “Jayvee” Hinlo, Atty. Vic Rodriguez, Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, SAGIP Party-list Representative Rodante Marcoleta, and Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC).
