In a tell-all press briefing held on October 18, Vice President Sara Duterte asserted that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is not adequately equipped with the knowledge required to serve as President, stating that the nation is on the 'road to hell'.

“Hindi marunong maging presidente ang nakaupo,” Duterte said affirmatively.

“Kasalanan ko ba ‘yon?” she added.

The Vice President disclosed that her departure from the administration as a Cabinet member was prompted by her growing dissatisfaction with what she was hearing and witnessing.

She further stated that she could not remember Marcos presenting any platform, even when they were campaigning together as running mates.

"I don’t ever remember na may platform siya na sinabi kung anong gagawin niya para sa bansang ito," said Duterte.

"Hindi niya sinabi ang gagawin natin sa food security, wala siyang sinabi kung anong gagawin natin sa inflation na darating," she added.

What is her rating for President Marcos' leadership as president?

Duterte indicated that, in her opinion, if asked, she would rate Marcos's leadership as a 1, given that he has not fulfilled her expectations.

“10 is the highest, 1 lang ang rating niya,” said Duterte.

"Kasi naman ang expectation mo kapag tumakbo ‘yung tao, mayroon siyang sinasabi na gagawin niya and pasensya na pero nung nakaupo ako at the time, hindi ako nakikinig sa kaniya [noong campaign],” she added.

She stated that the only phrase she has consistently heard is "sama-sama tayong babangon muli."

She remarked that her assumption was that when saying "sama-sama tayong babangon muli", there would be initiatives undertaken to improve the country and help it reach its fullest potential.

She remarked that the current situation in the country is not as described, citing that many individuals are being neglected.
