Veteran actor Vic Sotto is set to file a complaint against director Darryl Yap after Sotto was associated with the scandal behind “The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma” film.
The filmmaker posted a teaser referencing Sotto for the film he wrote, directed, and produced on his social media platforms.
In a news update from the TV network airing Sotto’s noontime variety show “Eat Bulaga,” Sotto’s camp will be lodging the complaint before the Muntinlupa City Regional Trial Court (RTC) on Thursday, January 9.
Further details on the allegations concerning the promotional material are yet to be revealed.
The film delves into the life of Fil-Am screen darling Pepsi Paloma, who sparked controversy after a scandal involving established personalities such as Sotto.
