Veteran Filipina actress Delia Razon dies at 94

Local veteran star Delia Razon has passed away at age 94.

Her granddaughter, Carla Abellana, announced her passing in a post to Instagram.

According to the post, Razon died on Saturday, March 15.

The cause of death has yet to be disclosed.

Razon, whose real name is Lucy Mary Reyes, née Grytz, was known for films such as “Awit ng Bulag,” “Florante at Laura,” “Rodrigo De Villa” and “Mutya ng Pasig.”

She was nominated as Best Actress for the FAMAS Awards in 1957 for her role in “Luksang Tagumpay.” She was later honored with the FAMAS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009.
