A headless and limbless body was discovered in the open canal of Barangay Pasong Camachile Dos in General Trias, Cavite on the evening of August 1.
In a separate incident, on July 31, a leg was discovered in the river of Barangay Bacao Uno in the same city.
It was a group of teenagers fishing in the area who stumbled upon an amputated human right leg floating in the water on July 31 at 1:50 PM.
At 3:45 PM, a duty Barangay Tanod from Bacao Uno personally appeared at General Trias City Police Station to report the shocking find.
Barangay Investigator Ajhie Parin of Barangay Bacao Uno noted that they suspect the leg belongs to a woman, based on its smooth and hairless appearance.
Adding to the gravity of the situation, a 16-year-old girl from Barangay Bacao Dos is reported missing, leading the police to consider the possibility that the body parts belong to the same person.
In response, authorities are actively coordinating with neighboring barangays to search for additional body parts, particularly the head, hands, and feet.
Meanwhile, the police are actively investigating the heinous crime and trying to identify the perpetrator.
