Typhoon Carina, with the international name of Gaemi, exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as per an update of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
PAGASA reported that Tropical Cyclone Carina exited PAR as of 6:20 am on Thursday.

Typhoon Carina is unlikely to bring heavy rains, but the southwest monsoon (Habagat) will continue to impact most areas of Luzon. Moderate to heavy rains will also be possible along the western section of Luzon.
Batanes remains under Signal No. 1, with winds expected to reach 39 to 61 km per hour over the next 36 hours.
Earlier today, Typhoon Carina made its landfall in Yilan County, Taiwan.

National Capital Region (NCR) has been declared under a state of calamity due to the severe impact of the southwest monsoon and Typhoon Carina.
