Pinay talents are conquering the K-pop world—the universe, rather!
The South Korean survival show “Universe Ticket” officially reached the finale, having two Filipina teens join Elisia Parmisano in the final line-up of the upcoming girl group “UNIS."
Pinoy pride Gehlee Dangca secured her debut spot, being hailed as the fourth member of the group, garnering 2,464,526 votes, while Filipina-Korean Jin Hyeon-ju has 496,797 votes, making her the last aspirant to complete the group.
It was Parmisano who was able to secure the debut spot after getting the highest level in the survival show, being the first-ever Filipina to get the first rank in a Korean survival show.
Other aspirants who completed the line-up for UNIS are Nana, Oh Yoona, Kotoko, Lim Seo-won, and Bang Yunha.
The debut date for the new girl group is yet to be announced, but many fans, particularly the Pinoy fans, are now excited and are looking forward to what UNIS can show their supporters.
