

Two drivers sustained injuries after a 22-wheeler trailer truck crashed into a tow truck along the southbound lane of Buendia Flyover in Roxas Blvd., Pasay City, on Monday morning, May 15.
The drivers, identified as Rodrigo Delemos and Angel Banigued, were immediately brought to the hospital after getting stuck inside their vehicles.

According to Pasay Traffic Supervisor Ambrosio Jun Payumo, two tow trucks attempted to help the impaired 22-wheeler trailer truck which carries a coil sheet.
However, due to the weight of its load, the 22-wheeler truck accidentally crashed into one of the tow trucks at about 11 pm.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) temporarily closed Roxas Blvd. Buendia Flyover southbound and northbound for the towing operations, causing heavy traffic on a rainy Tuesday morning, May 16. Affected motorists were instructed to use the service road
At around 12nn, MMDA Road Emergency Group successfully removed two trucks that collided.
