K-pop's phenomenal duo TVXQ! has never performed in the Philippines despite being in a group for nearly two decades, which made Yunho and Changmin felt surprised and grateful over the warm welcome from Filipino Cassiopeias during their recent back-to-back shows in Cebu and Manila on December 8 and 9.
At the press conference, Changmin said that they feel sorry that they only have the chance to perform in the Philippines and told them that they were actually surprised because many of their fans were still waiting for them.
TVXQ! joined labelmates Xiumin and Chen from EXO and BoA as the headliners for "Be You 2," a concert that aimed to pay tribute to the Filipino elderly, both staged in Araneta Coliseum and Mactan Newton Open Grounds.
Changmin expressed their appreciation to their fans who waited for them for so long.
TVXQ! is originally a five-member group that debuted in 2023 with the single "Hug" and instantly gained popularity in South Korea.
The group became the most prominent K-pop acts in the mid-2000s.
