Television host and Bicolano native Wally Bayola was injured after being involved in a motorcycle accident along Andaya Highway in Barangay Bel-Cruz, Lupi, Camarines Sur on Sunday, March 29.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Lupi, Bayola sustained abrasions on his hands and legs, and is currently experiencing limited movement in his right leg.

Initial investigation by the Lupi Police indicated that the motorcycle may have hit a pothole while Bayola was traveling with a group of riders en route to Bicol.

He was immediately brought to a private hospital in Naga City, where he is currently receiving medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police (PNP) Bicol reminded motorists traveling along Andaya Highway to exercise extra caution, especially in areas with road damage.
