TNT Triple Giga remains as the kings of the PBA 3x3
Triple Giga survived the Meralco Bolts, 21-20, in the grand finals of the PBA 3x3 3rd Season 2n Conference on Monday, November 27, at the Ayala Malls Trinoma.
Almond Vosotros scored nine-points, including the deuce that allowed TNT to seize the sixth straight grand championship of the franchise in PBA 3x3
Gryann Mendoza added six points while Chester Saldua and Ping Exciminiano combined for another six points for Triple Giga that brought home the cash prize of Php 750,000
The Bolts came close to dethroning the Triple Giga after a basket by Jeff Manday allowed them to take the lead, 19-18, with 28 seconds left in regulation.
Vosotros made the free throw that tied the score, and brought the game to overtime.
Raymar Caduyac buried the basket that allowed Meralco to take the lead, 20-19, in the extra period and at the brink of becoming the newest grand champions of the PBA 3x3 but a dagger by Vosotros put an end to the the game, and kept the crown to the Triple Giga.
Manday finished with seven points, and Caduyac tallied six points for the Bolts that settled for a runner-up finish
