Police General Nicolas Torre III has spoken out regarding his removal as Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, stressing that sympathy should go to victims of frequent flooding, not to him.
“In spite of my abrupt removal as Chief of the Philippine National Police, okay po ako.
In addition, Torre said he understood the President’s tough call for his dismissal. Earlier, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla said a new position was being offered to Torre, which is linked to anti-corruption efforts.
