Tom Holland will temporarily halt filming for the new Spider-Man film after he suffered a mild concussion from a stunt accident on set.
The actor recently reprised his role as the Marvel superhero in the upcoming fourth installment of the film franchise, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” However, media reports said that Holland suffered a mild concussion and will be taking a break from filming.
Despite this, the reports indicated that Holland is expected to return to work after a few days.
According to Variety, Sony and Marvel Studios will meet sometime this week to work out a plan going forward.
No one else, apart from Holland, was injured during the said incident.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” began production in early August and is slated for a theatrical release in July 2026.
Last month, Marvel Entertainment uploaded a 22-second video revealing Tom Holland’s new suit.
In addition, Sony Pictures Entertainment also released a 1-minute video during Holland’s first day back on set as the web-slinger.
