Police apprehended three Chinese nationals, and four other suspects in the kidnapping of three foreign nationals in Parañaque City.
National Capital Region Police Office chief PMGen Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. identified the three Chinese nationals as Liu Yujie, 39-years old; Weichun Xu, 35 years old; and Donbo Lyu, 35-years old.
Authorities also arrested their accomplices Jon Jon Osquiza, 45 years old; Jerico Mamaril, 29 years old; Brian Barado, 33 years old; and Ruel Arenas, 42 years old.
Per reports, the suspects abducted three women, two Chinese nationals and a Vietnamese national, on Monday, September 2, at a house in Brgy. Moonwalk.
Nartatez said that the suspects destroyed the closed-circuit television cameras, and seized the cellphones of the driver and housemaid of the victims.
After the incident reached the local police, they immediately conducted an operation that resulted to the discovery of the hideout used by the suspects, and their arrest.
Authorities have yet to determine the motive behind the abduction.
