Cordillera Police Director Brigadier General Mafelino Bazar said that over 1,500 cops will be deployed particularly in bus terminals, malls, parks, and other crowded areas for the upcoming Panagbenga Festival that will be celebrated this year.

Bazar ordered the city government of Baguio, as well as the Benguet Police to coordinate with the local government units (LGUs) to assist the possible traffic during the event.

He added that they are fully preparing for the physical activities since they are expecting tourists who will be visiting the city to witness the festival.

The first parade will start on February 1, the street dance and grand float parade will begin on February 25 and 26, while the 'Session in Road in Bloom' will start from February 27 to March 5.
