Police apprehended the primary suspect in the killing of radio broadcaster Juan Jumalon, popularly know as DJ Johnny Walker.

PCol. Jean Fajardo, spokesperson of the Philippine National Police, said authorities arrested Julito Mangumpit, alias Ricky, in Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte.

Mangumpit has standing arrest warrants for murder, frustrated murder, direct assault and drug charges.

Last March, police also arrested two other suspects: Boboy Bongcawel, alias Boboy, and Renante Bongcawel, alias Inteng, in Sapang Dalaga, Misamis Occidental.
