Let the Hunger Games begin!

The trailer for “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”, a prequel to the hit film trilogy “The Hunger Games”, has been dropped.

The two-minute and 49 seconds trailer centered on the younger years of Coriolanus Snow a decade before he became the cold and dictatorial president of Panem, and 64 years before Katniss Everdeen volunteered as a tribute of District 12 in the original “The Hunger Games” trilogy.

The trailer showed how 18-year-old Snow mentored Lucy Gray Baird, the winning tribute from poverty-stricken District 12, for the 10th Hunger Games.

English actor Tom Blyth portrayed Snow while American Rachel Zegler played Lucy.

Other casts in the prequel are Viola Davis as Dr. Volumnia Gaul, Peter Dinklage as Casca Highbottom, Hunter Schafer as Tigris Snow, and Josh Andrés Rivera as Sejanus Plinth, and many more.

Directed by Austrian-American filmmaker and producer Francis Lawrence, the much-awaited “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” will be released in the United States this November 17.
