Clear your schedules because Aliwan Fiesta, the festival of festivals is making a comeback, and so are the aspiring Festival Queens this coming June 27 to 29!

For the past years, Reyna ng Aliwan, or Festival Queen, has propelled pageant hopefuls with the platform to demonstrate how their cultural heritage shines as they demonstrate their beauty and intellect.

Contestants aged 16 and above, would be competing in various segments such as the festival costume competition for the grand parade, the swimwear, and the evening gown presentation, where the question and answer portion would commence.

Whoever gets crowned will represent the Aliwan Fiesta and other MBC Media Group (MMG) events at various festivals nationwide, and shall not take part in other beauty pageants until the end of her reign; Similar to Reyna ng Aliwan 2023, Kiara Liane Wellington who represented Sinulog Festival and Aliwan Fiesta previously.

Moreover, the judges are not the only ones to assess the contestants as audiences can also take part by viewing the show on digital platforms with the same criteria: 35% for Personality, 35% for Beauty and Poise, 20% for Costume, and 10% Overall Impact, for a total of 100%.

Previous winners who have competed had won titles for both local and international pageants like: Mary Jean Lastimosa, Rogelie Catacutan, and Ahtisa Manalo, who became Binibining Pilipinas title holders; Vera Eumee Reiter as Mutya ng Pilipinas; Jamie Herrell and Karla Henry for Miss Earth; Rizzini Alexis Gomez and Angeli Dione Gomez, who won Miss Tourism International; Cynthia Thomalla as Miss Eco International; and Sharifa Aqeel for Miss Pacific International.

The MBC Media Group (MMG) organized the event in hopes of converging the festivals around the nation, without the expense of traveling—all with a similar atmosphere of extravagance in music, dance, and cultural displays.
