Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) and Teves Cares have officially inked a deal for ‘Aksyon, Tulong, Solusyon sa DZRH TV’ during its media launch held in Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila last Friday, December 16.

The event was led by the pillars of MBC: DZRH Station Manager and Vice President for Legal Atty. Rudolph Steve Juralbal, Vice President for Sales and AM Operations Mr. Jose Ma. Parroco, and Love Radio DJ Jessey Guiam, popularly known as DJ Raqi Tera, together with Congressman 'Kuya’ Arnie Teves.

‘Aksyon, Tulong, Solusyon sa DZRH TV’ is a new radio program in DZRH, which will air starting January 7, 2023, every Saturday 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm hosted by ‘Kuya’ Arnie Teves and DJ Raqi Tera.

The program will provide actions and solutions to marginalized sectors of society in the form of health, medical, and hospitalization, legal advice, family and relationship tips, financial assistance, and other issues and problems.

During the media launch, Congressman Teves shared his genuine desire to support people in need through the radio program.

“Nung una ko nga ‘tong ginawa sa social media, wala akong hangad pulitikal, wala akong habol na magpasikat or ano, ang una ko lang talagang goal dito is magpasaya ng tao hanggang [sa] nag-evolve na siya sa kung anu-ano," he said.

The partnership between Teves Cares and MBC was rooted in the same objective of helping Filipinos, Atty. Rudolph Steve Juralbal said.

“When the program was proposed to the DZRH a couple of months ago, after reading what the program concept was, it was actually a no-brainer. Kasi the program concept was very much near the heart of DZRH, parang Operation Tulong, one of our anchor CRS (Corporate Social Responsibility). And with the program of Kuya Arnie, it brings to life on a Saturday the principles and objectives of helping people not only financially, not only in terms of resources but also emotionally," Jularbal explained.

Teves also mentioned specific topics he will be discussing in the program which will make Filipino lives easier.

“I will be tackling a lot of issues regarding this. Some examples of this is papano magiging mura ‘yung kuryente para sa lahat. Alam niyo kung maging kalahati lang ‘yung presyo ng kuryente, lahat gagaan na, [pati] presyo ng pagkain, lahat," he said.

Teves is a member of the House of Representatives for the 3rd District of Negros Oriental, who is now in his last term. Through his program Teves Cares, he extended help to Filipino people.
