President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. named former Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro 'Teddy Boy' Locsin Jr. as Special Envoy of the President to the People’s Republic of China for Special Concerns.
The appointment was announced by Presidential Communications Office on Wednesday, more than a week after the Chinse Coast Guard attacked Filipino vessels with a water canon in Ayungin Shoal.
"Itinalaga si G. Teodoro L. Locsin Jr. bilang Special Envoy of the President to the People's Republic of China for Special Concerns," the Facebook post read.
