Team Manila emerged as the champions of the Pony International Softball World Series once more.

The Philippine-based softball team completed an eight game-sweep after defeating the Glory Adkins Bejar, 6-0, on Sunday, July 23, at the McAllen Softball Complex in Texas. United States.

The squad won back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018 but decided to skip the 2019 edition in order to prepare for the Southeast Asian Games which happened in the Philippines.

The tournament then went into a three-year hiatus due to the 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
