Team Liquid Philippines and Aurora Gaming Philippines have been named as the country’s official representatives in the upcoming seventh Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) M-Series World Championship.
Ahead of the international tournament, Moonton Games organized a send-off event for both squads on January 2 at Pop Up in Katipunan, Quezon City. The teams are set to compete in Jakarta, Indonesia, where the M7 World Championship will run from January 3 to January 25, 2026.
The tournament will unfold across three major stages. The Wild Card round, scheduled from January 3 to 6, features eight teams competing for the final slot in the main event. This is followed by the Swiss Stage from January 10 to 17, where 16 teams battle through five rounds—earning three wins secures advancement, while three losses result in elimination. The top eight teams will then move on to the Knockout Stage and Grand Finals from January 18 to 25, using a double-elimination format that concludes with a best-of-seven championship match.
A total prize pool of USD 1 million is at stake, with the champion set to receive $320,000. The runner-up will take home $150,000, while the third-place finisher earns $90,000.
The Philippines enters the competition with a dominant legacy, having claimed five of the last six MLBB world titles. These victories were secured by Bren Esports/AP. Bren (M2, M5), Blacklist International (M3), ECHO Philippines (M4), and Fnatic ONIC Philippines (M6), cementing the country’s reputation as a global MLBB powerhouse.
With Team Liquid PH and Aurora Gaming PH spearheading the nation’s campaign at M7, the Philippines once again heads into the world championship as the benchmark for excellence in MLBB esports.
