Team Liquid ECHO swept their three-game run in the group stage of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2024, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Their undefeated streak secured them a top seed position in Group C and a spot in the knockout round.

The Philippine team began their campaign with a decisive victory over Twisted Minds last Wednesday, followed by back-to-back 2-0 wins against Team Spirit from Russia and HomeBois from Malaysia on Friday.

In their match against Team Spirit, Liquid ECHO employed a high-mobility lineup featuring Mathilda, Lou Yi, Yu Zhong, and Baxia. Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales on Natan showcased his prowess with a 7-1-9 KDA, while Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya's Paquito executed a decisive backdoor maneuver that clinched the game.

Veteran jungler Karl “Karltzy” Nepomuceno played a crucial role in securing jungle objectives, with Sanford earning the MVP with a commendable 2-3-9 KDA.

Liquid ECHO's momentum continued in their final group stage match against HomeBois. They exhibited impeccable discipline in game one, not conceding any deaths until the seven-minute mark.

Bennyqt’s excellent marksmanship on Beatrix earned him the MVP citation with a 10-1-1 KDA.

In game two, the team closed the series with a lopsided 27-8 kill score, dominating from early to late game and securing a 10k gold lead. Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz shined as the MVP on Chip with a 4-2-15 KDA.

With this stellar performance, Team Liquid ECHO now sets their sights on the MSC knockout stage, aiming to exceed their third-place finish from last year.

Attention now shifts to Falcons AP Bren, who will conclude their group stage matches on Sunday, July 7, facing off against Cloud9 at 5:30 p.m. and Falcon Esports at 8 p.m. (Manila time), as they strive to join their compatriots in the knockout rounds.
