

The taxi driver who suspectedly raped a transgender woman in Quezon City surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation on Monday, September 18.
In a report by Rh 5 Val Gonzales, the taxi driver, identified as 'Berning,’ said that the trans woman herself offered to have sex with him in exchange for money after the drunk victim boarded his taxi.
After the sexual intercourse, Berning continued explaining that the victim could not wake up, so he only took the P4,000 from the wallet, the amount they had agreed on.
Previously, the trans woman said that the taxi driver forced her to take her to a motel and stole her money.
Meanwhile, the incident happened a year ago, but a video of the suspect’s arrival and escape from a motel is now viral and continuously circulating on social media.
