The Makati City government on Friday, March 1, raised that its security had stopped personnel of the Taguig Traffic Management Office from entering forcibly to one of its owned properties, Makati Park and Garden.
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), it said that the Makati Public Safety Department personnel successfully prevented the attempted entry that happened in the morning.
"Taguig has once again proven that it is bent on grabbing property. Gusto nilang mangamkam ng lupa na hindi kanila," it said
"Gusto nilang magpasasa sa mga ipinundar ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Makati gamit ang buwis ng mamamayan ng Makati," it added.

The Makati government advised the Taguig government to prioritize instead EMBO residents' significant concerns such as the lack of health services and benefits and the inorganized system in extending help to senior citizens and residents with conditions.
"If only Taguig would display the same zeal in improving their services to their constituents," it stressed.
In January, the Makati City government announced the expiration of yellow and blue cards as well as solo parent cards of citizens residing in EMBO barangays.
As of this writing, Taguig local government has yet to respond to the issue raised.
