The Christmas spirit is alive in Taguig!
The city of Taguig on Wednesday opened the new “Christmas by the Lake”, the biggest Christmas lights park in the country.
Located at the Lower Bicutan in Taguig City, the six-hectare family-friendly outdoor attraction features a variety of colorful Christmas lights and themed-installation-like nativity scenes and a little drummer boy.
"This newest attraction from the City is something we should all be proud of because it reflects not only our identity as a probinsyudad but also our values as a community," Mayor Lani Cayetano said in a statement.
The park also offers Aqua Luna lights and sound shows and an aerial light show called Sinagtala that friends and families can surely enjoy watching.
Meanwhile, couples can have a romantic moment while walking along a pathway filled with light decorations called the “Walkway of Lights.”
Apart from the dazzling Christmas lights, children and even adults can also enjoy train rides that can tour them around three zones in the park namely the Lights of the City, the Heart of Christmas, and the Spirit of Christmas.
A larger-than-life walk-through kaleidoscope will also be available at the Interactive Art Murals where visitors can capture Instagram-worthy photos.
Visitors can also make their New Year's wishes in ribbons which can be tied around the park's gratitude tree.
Of course, a park would not be complete without food. A variety of meals are offered in TLC Food Park (Mercato X Mercado).
All attractions are open at 5 pm while the food park opens at 2 pm.
Admissions are free. The management advised the public to book visits by messaging Christmas the Lake's official Facebook page.
