The music video for "To.X" was dropped simultaneously with the album release.
The story of the music video centers on Taeyeon and his former lover, X, who seems to be manipulative towards her.
"That lipstick I really liked, threw it away 'cause you said no. I liked you that much in all things I tried to cater to you. Who else get your world, if not me?" the song's lyrics convey.
Her X's manipulative behavior is particularly highlighted in the MV scene wherein he forces Taeyeon to watch a screen that shows their good and happy moments together as a couple.
But she did let herself fall into the trap as she then burns the house and the paper with the word "narcissist" written on it.
"To.X" marks Taeyeon's first comeback this year.
The 34-year-old South Korean singer's last music release was in 2022, with her third full-length album "INVU".
