

Consumers will have to pay more when buying Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) this January 2024 as some oil firms announced an over P3.00 increase in their prices.
In an X (formerly Twitter) post, Petron Corporation said its LPG products hiked by P3.40 per kilogram.
The price adjustment took effect at 12 midnight on Monday, January 1.
“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of January,” Petron Corporation noted.

In a Facebook post, Phoenix Super LPG advised its customers that it would implement a P3.40 per kilogram increase.
Solane had also P3.45 per kilgram mark up, according to the oil firm’s advisory.
“Solane-branded LPG price by Php3.45/kg VAT inclusive effective January 2, 2024 at 6 AM. Thank you!” it said.
