Many Filipino adults, who have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19, remain hesitant to receive the jab, the results of the latest survey by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) showed.
Willingness of unvaccinated Pinoys to get vaccinated
The national poll found that there are 13% or an estimated 9.5 million unvaccinated Filipinos.
Of these, 69% are still unwilling to get a COVID-19 jab while 12 percent are willing.

Meanwhile, the survey also found that there are 64% of vaccinated Pinoys — 6% or 4.4 million Pinoys got their 1st COVID-19 dose while 57% or 41.4 million completed their 2nd dose.
But of the 64 %, only 32% are willing to get a COVID-19 booster and 44% are unwilling.

On the other hand, SWS also found that of the 17% of Pinoys with the 1st booster, at least 55% are willing to get the 2nd booster while 32% are unwilling.
The SWS poll was conducted from December 10 to 14.
About 1,200 adults aged 18 years old and above were interviewed face-to-face nationwide.
