The suspect in the devastating Makati road rage incident has been tracked and seized in his home in Pasig City.
The National Capital Region Police located the suspect, Gerrard Raymund Talusan Yu, 34, in Riverside Village. They arrested Yu on Wednesday morning and impounded the black Mercedes Benz he drove during the violent encounter, which was also found in his residence.
The vehicle's plate number, which was originally BCS 77, had been replaced with DAB 9670. The first plate was stowed inside the vehicle.
Authorities also confiscated two .40 caliber pistols registered under Yu's name. One of these, a Taurus G2C pistol with the serial number ABE632300, was identified through firearms crossmatching to be the gun used in the crime. Moreover, Yu came out positive for gunpowder residue in a paraffin test.
