Super Typhoon Nando has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the PAGASA said.

As of 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 23, the state weather bureau announced that Super Typhoon “Ragasa,” which was formerly “Nando,” was last located at 340 km west northwest of Calayan, Cagayan.

It had maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h and gustiness of 230 km/h. It continues to move west-northwestward at 20 km/h.

Meanwhile, the low pressure area (LPA) outside of the PAR has developed into a tropical depression.

As of 8:00 AM, it was located at 1,090 km east of Eastern Visayas, with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h and gustiness of 70 km/h.

It continues to move westward at 35 km/h.
