The Hallyu kings are definitely back!
After three long years, South Korean boy group Super Junior is coming back to Manila with Super Show 9: Road to Manila, happening on August 6, 2022 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
As soon as the boys from SM Town announced that they will be holding their first-ever offline concert after the CoVid19 pandemic, Filipino fans already anticipated that Manila will be part of the leg of their concert.
And true enough, the boys didn’t disappoint. The confirmation came from Hapee Sy of PULP Live World, the local promoter of the said show. Sy, who’s been the fairy godmother of Kpop fans have shared a soft spot for Super Junior as she admits to being a fan of the group.
Coinciding with Super Show 9, the boys headed by their leader Leeteuk also released their 11th studio album, The Road: Keep on Going, with Mango as their title track.
Teuk, together with Heechul, Shindong, Yesung, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Kyuhyun and Ryeowook are eager to reunite with their fans. Unfortunately, Heechul already announced that he will be begging off from this tour because of health reasons.
For true-blue blood fans out there, this is your opportunity to see the boys live once again. The last time we had a “party” with them was during their Super Show 8: Infinite Time on Dec. 15, 2019.
Ticket selling for Super Show 9: Road to Manila will start on July 17 at all SM Tickets nationwide.
