A fire hit a residential area in Alonzo Cor. Fugoso Sta. Cruz, Manila, on Wednesday afternoon, February 15.

As reported by Boy Gonzales during MBC Network News, the fire started at 11:28 a.m. and reached the third alarm.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the fire has impacted at least 50 to 70 homes of 100 families, or 200 individuals in the area.
Four individuals suffered minor injuries.
Several pets were also rescued after the incident.

The fire reportedly came from a construction site near the area.
Firefighters were challenged to control the fire as houses were made from light materials.
