From an on-screen pairing to a real-life, standout Hollywood couple, Tom Holland and Zendaya have taken their relationship a step further with their engagement, US media reported.
All eyes were on Zendaya, who wore a massive diamond ring to the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday night. The news had the internet abuzz with speculations of the couple’s engagement.
Celebrity scoop outlet TMZ confirmed that Holland had popped the question while the couple spent the holidays together.
After dating for over three years, the “Spiderman” star dropped to one knee “in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya's family homes in the United States,” the outlet said.
TMZ said sources informed them that Holland “didn’t make a huge show” of the proposal, which was instead a “very romantic and intimate” moment shared by only the two of them.
Holland and Zendaya first met in 2016, on the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship, which became public in 2021.
