Korean-American singer Ailee and the ‘Singles Inferno’ star Choi Si-Hun, be getting married in April next year, the couple confirmed through their social media accounts.
Ailee’s agency A2Z Entertainment also announced the news through an official statement on Tuesday. The statement indicated that the singer would be marrying her boyfriend the following year. The couple met through an acquaintance, and have been dating for a year now.
According to Ailee’s agency, the two had already received blessings from both their families, and are grateful to the fans who sent their support and congratulatory messages since they went public with the relationship.
On the same day, Ailee also shared a letter to her fans through the official fan cafe. The singer addressed her fans who have supported and loved her for the past 12 years. She expressed her gratitude to fans for their patience but felt apologetic that she wasn’t able to share the news sooner.
“Thanks to the love you nurtured me with, I was able to grow into the person I am today. Now, I’ve met someone with whom I can share all that love. As the eldest daughter, I’ve always cared for and sacrificed for others,” Ailee wrote.
“Now, I’ve met someone who allows me to lean on them and gives me support. This understanding and considerate person made me want to spend the rest of my life with them. After a year of dating, we have decided to hold our wedding next April,” she added.
The singer is hopeful that fans continue to support her and her soon-to-be husband’s future together. Her agency also assured that Ailee will not be neglecting her activities as a singer, while she prepares for her wedding.

Ailee debuted as a singer in 2012, where she gained instant recognition for her powerful voice. She has since released numerous hit songs like “Heaven”, “I Will Show You”, and “I Will Go To You Like the First Snow.”
Choi began his career with the romantic-comedy web drama “I Started Following Romance,” but gained attention through the popular Netflix reality show “Singles Inferno” as a contestant in 2021.
