South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home on Sunday, February 16, police officials said.
According to the police, the 24-year-old actress was found dead in her home in the Seongsu-song district of Seoul, by a friend at around 4:55 PM. Moreover, officials said they suspect no sign of foul play involved but are still investigating the actress’ cause of death.
Sae-ron made her acting debut in 2009. She, however, rose to prominence with the film “A Brand New Life.” From there, she starred in South Korea’s highest-grossing film of 2010, “The Man from Nowhere” and the 2012 thriller “The Neighbor.”
Apart from films, Sae-ron also appeared in several K-dramas, one being, “Hi! School Love On, Can You Heart My Heart.”
The actress withdrew from the public eye in 2022, after a drunk driving incident. A year later, she was fined 20 million won for the incident.
