South Korean actor Song Kang wrote a handwritten letter to fans ahead of his military enlistment on April 2.
Media outlet Soompi shared the actor’s letter filled with gratitude to his fans for supporting him since his debut in 2017.
“There are so many things that I feel grateful to SONGPYEON for. I am so thankful that SONGPYEON filled my 20s with meaningful times including birthdays, anniversaries, fan meetings, etc,” Song Kang wrote.
He added that despite not being with his fans for the time being, he would come back with a “grateful and healthy heart.”
“I hope that SONGPYEON will also spend the times in a meaningful way, doing what you want to do and finding yourselves,” he continued.
He also expressed his wish to learn a new language while in the military, ensuring fans that he would not let the time go to waste.
Song Kang is best known for his hit dramas “Love Alarm,” “Sweet Home,” “Nevertheless,” and “My Demon.”
