Additionally, both bassist Buddy Zabala and drummer Raimund Marasigan felt that the ceremony was comparable to a graduation ceremony.
“So this is how it feels to graduate. Heart bursting, can’t talk, only drink. Looking around for people I love to help me calm down. Then, the Gawad Oblation medal. I look far away, imagining my parents beaming proudly at me,” Buddy Zabala captioned.

Being in UP reminded members of their roots and how their music found its voice. They recalled the sleepless nights spent writing, rehearsing songs, and dreaming. The members are all UP alumni and met while they were studying at the university. The band was formed in 1989.
Even now, the band is still known for giving the Filipinos lived experiences a series of soundtracks, which catapulted them to the local music scene in the 1990s.
