Shotaro and Sugchan, former members of the the Korean boyband NCT, have made a return as part of the newly-revealed boy group, RIIZE, under SM Entertainment.
The group, comprising seven talented members, was unveiled through SM Entertainment's official Instagram account.

RIIZE, a combination of "RISE" and "REALIZE," signifies the group's determination to rise together and achieve their dreams, said the label.
Described as an "emotional pop" group, RIIZE is set to make its mark in the music industry.
The agency expressed their confidence in the group, stating, "RIIZE consists of seven top-notch members who possess both skills and visuals. Each member brings unique characteristics and strengths, and together, they will embark on a new 'realtime odyssey,' rewriting music history."
The lineup of RIIZE includes Shotaro (22), Eunseok (22), Sungchan (21), Won Bin (21), Seung Han (19), So Hee (19), and Anton (19).

Shotaro and Sungchan had previously debuted as new members of NCT in 2020 and participated in NCT's second full-length album, Resonance Pt. 1. However, they departed from NCT in May this year.
While the specific debut date and album release details are yet to be disclosed, SM Entertainment has teased that RIIZE's music will fall under the genre of "emotional pop."
