Olympic legend Simone Biles on Sunday, Dec. 24, responded to the backlash against her husband after he referred himself as the “catch” in their relationship in a podcast.
“]A]re y’all done yet?” Biles said in an X (formerly Twitter) post, days after her husband, Jonathan Owens, claimed he did not know who Biles was before they started dating and called himself the “catch” in their relationship.

“I didn’t know who she was at the time. But like, the first thing that I saw was that she just had a bunch of followers. So in my mind I’m like, ‘OK, she’s got to be good,” Owens said during the podcast.
"I always say the men are the catch," he added.

Simone Biles’ husband also claimed that he didn’t “pay attention” to gymnastics, but Pop Crave posted how netizens resurfaced the former’s tweets during the 2012 Summer Olympics, with statements like, “Why is there an asian coach for the USA girl gymnist? (sic)”
