His solo debut album 'Chase' definitely swept global charts!
SHINee's Minho released his long-awaited solo debut on December 6, with the mini-album 'Chase,' featuring the title song of the same name.
'Chase' debuted straight at No. 1 on both worldwide album iTunes and the European iTunes album chart.
Prior to his solo debut, Minho debuted as a member of South Korean boy group SHINee in 2008 alongside other members Onew, Key, Taemin, and Jonghyun which also became one of the best-selling Korean group with their hit songs Replay (2008), Ring Ding Dong (2009), Sherlock (2011), Lucifer (2011), View (2015), and more.
He debuted as an actor in 2010 and later landed on roles in television such as Salamander Guru and The Shadows (2012), To the Beautiful You (2012), Medical Top Team (2013), My First Time (2015), and Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2016).
Meanwhile, Minho's album landed above iTunes 'Top Albums' chart in a total of 41 countries which include Japan, United States, the Philippines, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, India, and Taiwan.
