SHINee's leader Onew has tested positive for COVID-19 and will cancel schedules including the 'SMTOWN LIVE 2023' appearance.

SM Entertainment announced on December 12 that the singer-actor has tested positive for the virus and will be halting activities to enter quarantine in accordance with national control guidelines.

Included on the canceled schedules are December 14's 'Happy Onew Day,' and his appearance at the '2023 SMTOWN LIVE: SMCU PALACE "KWANGYA,' since the pre-recording is scheduled for December 15.

The agency confirmed the appearance of the other members, Minho and Key, who will be recording their solo performances for the '2023 SMTOWN LIVE: SMCU PALACE @KWANGYA' as scheduled.
