SHINee’s Onew and Taemin are reportedly leaving SM Entertainment after their contracts ended.

In a Soompi report, Taemin will sign with Big Planet Entertainment while continuing group activities with SHINee under their old label.

Onew, on the other hand, is “seeking options,” according to reports.

Meanwhile, other members Key and Minho reportedly renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment, marking their fourth contract renewal with the agency.

SM Entertainment released a statement following the clamor of some SHINee members leaving the agency.

“SHINee’s activities will continue at SM Entertainment without change, and contracts for individual activities will be decided according to each member’s wishes,” its said, adding that further discussions with Minho and Key are underway.

“Our exclusive contract with Taemin expires in March. Taemin’s next course of action following his contract expiration has not been confirmed yet, and we heard that he is considering various options,” its statement further read.

SHINee debuted in 2008 with the iconic song “Replay,” and has released hit tracks like "Juliette," "Ring Ding Dong," "Everybody," and "Sherlock.”
