Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo’s sibling, Shiela Guo, has been set for deportation following the resolution of all legal cases lodged against her, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said on Thursday, September 26.

“We cannot implement her deportation even if she is found deportable by the BI until her local cases are fully resolved,” Spokesperson for the BI Dana Sandoval said in a public briefing.

Sandoval said Guo must undergo the entire judicial process in the Philippines, with deportation as the final penalty.

As of now, Shiela is in the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), where she will be detained until all charges have been settled. Afterwards, she will be transferred to the BI detention center in Bicutan.
